Portal Notes and Feedback

The Web Portal capabilities for Notes and Feedback allow a "running conversation" to carry on between a Customer's Web Portal Users and your staff.

On the Web Portal side the activity is called Add a Note. Inside FieldOne the action takes place on the Feedback Tab, found on both Service Requests and Work Orders. (For these items the typical Notes Tab continues to refer to internal Company comments not shared with the Customer.)

If you have set up Email Notification using Templates and Notification flags for Portal Users and your Employees, each Customer Service Request and Note and staff Feedback added will result in an email as well as appearing on the Web Portal.

The example below shows a long-running Notes and Feedback trail between one Portal User (Frank) and an administrator on the staff of the sample company, ANC Air:
