Mouse Maneuvers for Schedule Slots

You can use Mouse Maneuvers for Schedule Slots to do most of the basic operations for a Schedule Slot. (Some actions will also require a keyboard click as well.)

Make Changes:

• Change Start or End time (This option is only available on the Day View.) :
►Focus the mouse over the top or bottom line of the Schedule Slot until the mouse cursor changes showing a double arrow (<-->)
►While holding down the left mouse button, Drag-n-Drop the border of the Schedule Slot until it reaches the time desired.
•Change to a different Time (This option is only available on the Day View.) :
►Focus the mouse in the middle of the Schedule Slot
►While holding down the left mouse button, Drag-n-Drop the Schedule Slot to the desired Time Cell.
•Change to a different Date:
►If you wish to assign a Schedule Slot to a different Date without changing the Time, you could simply Drag-n-Drop the Schedule Slot over to the Date Navigator and drop it onto the desired Date.
►If you wish to change the Time as well as the Date, do this:
1.Display both Dates on the Schedule Board (the current and the desired date).
2.Drag-n-Drop the Schedule Slot over to the desired Date, at the desired Time.
•Change Technician: (Not available for Schedule Slot assigned to Multiple Technicians or Crews)
►Make sure that you have the desired Technician visible on the Schedule Board.
►Focus the mouse in the middle of the Schedule Slot
►Hold down the Left mouse button
►Drag-n-Drop the Schedule Slot over to the desired Technician.

Copy Schedule Slots:

TIP: Using the CTRL key here for the Drag-n-Drop will leave the old Schedule Slot in place and also create a new one.

•Copy a Schedule Slot to a different Date, Time and/or Technician:
1.Focus the mouse over the existing Schedule Slot
2.Press the left mouse button
3.Then press the CTRL key on the keyboard
►While holding the CTRL key, use the Left mouse button to Drag-n-Drop the copy to the desired time and Technician.
►Now two identical Schedule Slots appear and you can repeat this action

Note:

You can also perform some of the same actions by keying manual entries within the Slot Details screen.
