Schedule a Work Order

To Schedule a Work Order:

Existing Work Orders: (either Service Call or Project), or parts of it:
Use the Slot Details Panel, Schedule Work Order # field and its search capability.
Use the Manage Open Work Orders / Slots Tab, where you can left-click with the mouse and Drag-n-Drop a Work Order or Schedule Slot to assign it on the Schedule Board
New Service Calls:
Use the Slot Details Panel, with the New Service Call Button, following the steps below.

It might be that the best time to create a Service Call is when you start scheduling it. Perhaps you know the Technician in advance, or the exact Date or Time. Or maybe you just wish to schedule a phone call upon arrival.

1.Select one or more of theTime Cells on the Schedule Board for a Technician (or the Unassigned Technician)
2.Click on the New Service Call Button found on Slot Details Panel in the middle of the right panel.
If you begin a New Service Call at the time you enter its Schedule, the details you enter there for Technicians and Schedule will then be transferred to the Schedule Tab on the Work Order, saving you time on data entry.
Taking these steps in this order will save you later steps as you work with the Slot Details Panel.
