Slot Type

The Slot Type option for managing Schedule Slots appears when you click on the Type box at the bottom of the window and select Slot. This view takes you directly into the Schedule Slot details.

Click on the Status Box at the bottom of the window to select the Status to display. (The reference here is to Schedule Slot Status, which is not the same as Work Order Status.)

Scheduled:

All Schedule Slots that its status are currently either In-Progress or Assigned

Unassigned:

All Schedule Slots that have been created but were never assigned to a specific Employee

The Slot Type view of the screen will appear:

This screen, with multiple details, is a DataView, where you can adjust the layout, print or export the data (see DataView Menu). There may also be a header panel above for the "parent" of the details, or a DataView Footer below. By using the Field Chooser function you may be able to add more fields to the display from the Customization Screen.

 

To Work with existing Schedule Slots:

To copy a Schedule Slot or make any changes:

Double-click to select and open a Schedule Slot
Notice that the Schedule Board display changes to the Date for the Slot that you just opened.
An Unassigned Schedule Slot appears in the Unassigned Column on the Schedule Board.
A Schedule Slot that has already been assigned to an Employee will appear in the column for that Employee.
Use Drag-n-Drop, the Actions button, or a right-click on the Schedule Slot to make any change you wish in the schedule assignment, selecting the Time(s) and the Employee(s). (See Multiple Technicians and/or Crews.)
